Our mission at Bridge Space is to help businesses by providing resources to create opportunity, growth, education, and connection. The resources we offer to a “for-profit” business are also available for non-profits and charitable organizations too. In 2019 we donated thousands of hours and almost $50,000 to non-profits in Jackson County in an effort to move their cause and businesses forward.

Oftentimes we donated conference rooms or event space for fundraisers, board meetings, or public outreach. Our challenge is the need for a conference room that accommodates 15 to 20 people, typically board meetings. Our current conference rooms hold no more than 10, so we end up having to move these groups to our large event space (capacity of 110), which isn’t as suitable or cost-effective.

The solution? The Bridge Space Philanthropic Board Room. Thanks to Collins and Webb Architects and American Family Insurance, the blueprints are drawn up and approved by the City of Lee’s Summit. We currently have an anchor sponsor and are looking for a handful of companies who want visibility for their business while offering support to Jackson County non-profits. In exchange for the contribution, companies receive recognition in our lobby for the next two years, access to our event space, and more.
