Now that so many of our private offices are being snapped up, it’s time to address one of the main questions I receive: how long is the lease?
I get it — it’s a common question. Lease terms must be taken seriously for any company, whether you’re a startup or an established business. Many contracts have strict language about breaking the terms or following rules that don’t make sense.
That’s not what we do at Bridge Space. We know that things are going to happen, like your incredible success, and that’s why we’re dedicated to true flex office space.
Your business is going to grow; you’re going to need a bigger space. Your podcast is going to take off; you’ll need more podcasting studio credits. Your training programs are going to be successful; we’re ready to move you to larger rooms to accommodate more people. We have the flexibility to adapt to the growing needs of your business.
The business landscape can change in the blink of an eye. At any moment, you might need to adapt your physical space to match the internal workings of your business. We give you the means to do that without trapping you in a lease that holds you back.
Did I just make up a word? Maybe. Do you get what I mean? I hope so.
At Bridge Space, you don’t lease working space; you become a member. You’re not tied down, you’re not inhibited from growing your footprint as you expand your business, and you’re not restricted by clauses, provisos, subsections, or any other Latin term that you don’t really get anyways.
Interestingly, and perhaps relatedly, we believe that when you have a lease, you go in, you do your work, and you leave. We know that coworkers are more likely to collaborate, share what they know, help their fellow workers, contribute to the community, and celebrate everyone else’s success. This is the Bridge Space culture.
We say it every day at Bridge Space: we value collaboration and community over competition . Now does that mean you have to remove your competitive bone when you walk through the door? Not a chance. You wouldn’t be an entrepreneur if you did. But when we remember that the Bridge Space mission is to accelerate entrepreneurs’ success, we recommit to forging a collaborative, peer-to-peer learning environment for our members. And that is worth more than a million leases.
Each member is required to sign the Bridge Space membership contract. Our fancy-schmancy lawyers want to make sure that you won’t bring in illegal drugs, download porn, or steal from anyone else in the space.*
We want to make sure you’re going to clean up after yourself and be a good human. #YoMommaDontWorkHere
*Bridge Space does not endorse irresponsible behavior, being a meanie, and/or dangerous life choices.
Becoming a member is pretty simple. Simply fill out an application form , and I’ll email you. Not only will you love receiving email from me (obvs!), but we can move the membership application process along pretty quickly.
